IOP Member Dr. James Millen was presented with the David Bates Prize at the Institute’s International Conference on Quantum, Atomic, Molecular and Plasma Physics (QuAMP) in Glasgow on 7 September.
Millen, a researcher at the Vienna Center for Quantum Science and Technology, was awarded the prize for his pioneering experimental and theoretical contributions to the field of quantum optomechanics.
