On November 21st, 2024, Richard Ferstl has been awarded the Würdigungspreis (Achievement Award) by the Federal Minister for Education, Science and Research for his ouststanding studies and his Master's thesis on Optical Diffraction Mechanisms for Molecules at DUV Light Gratings.
This prestigious recognition is extremely selective:
Every year, this state prize is awarded to the 55 best diploma and master's degrees, selected from proposals made by all Austrian Universities, all Universities of Applied Sciences and all Universities of Education, with a total of around 16,000 degrees per year.
